MCHS Assistant Principal - Dr. Marvin Howard

Dr. Marvin Howard is a graduate of Albany State University (B. S. and M. Edu.). He also has a Specialist Degree from Troy State University in Alabama and a Doctoral Degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.  Dr. Howard has been a coach (football, softball, track, and basketball). He served on the Wheeler County Board of Education for 8 years. Dr. Howard teaching career started in Telfair County in 1983 and has been in education for 34 years. He has held the positions of classroom Teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, Director of Alternative School and Superintendent. Not only is education dear to him, but Dr. Howard believes in giving  glory to  Our Lord, the one who deserves all the praises. He has been a pastor for 36 years and currently serves as senior pastor of Corinth C. M. E. Church in McRae, Georgia.  He lives by the motto, "If I can help somebody as I pass along, then my living shall not be in vain."

Dr. Howard is married to Mrs. Susie Howard, a 2012 retired teacher from Montgomery County School System. They have three children; Jerome, (Georgia Tech graduate), Angel, (Fort Valley State University graduate), and Landon (6th grader)
